Amazon GenAI GTM - Acceleration Manager, GTM in Tokyo, Japan

Description

Do you want to be a key part of a team focused on increasing the reach of cloud computing through driving strategic initiatives? Do you have the Go-To-Market experience, technical acumen, and communication skills needed to help further establish Amazon as the leader in the industry/segments? Amazon Web Service (AWS) is looking for dedicated Go-to-Market manager to accelerate Generative AI (Gen AI) adaption as corporate-wide initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of Japan GTM (Go-To-Market) team to drive corporate-wide initiatives by identifying customer needs and communicating values.

  • Develop Gen AI acceleration strategy and mechanism to drive easier Gen AI adaption by collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Maximize the opportunities for Builders by leveraging government-led initiatives like GENIAC (Generative AI Accelerator Challenge) and by utilizing existing offerings like GENAIC (Generative AI Innovation Center).

  • Expand the coverage and penetration of AWS Gen AI by collaboration with Marketing and AWS Partners.

  • Design and encompass customer community and business matching facilitation.

  • Enable AWS Account teams, support strategic deals and drive co-selling efforts with AWS Partners.

A day in the life

  • Develop Gen AI strategy and mechanisms, working with key internal stakeholders.

  • Proactive collaboration with cross function teams such as SA (Solution Architect), AWS Partner Organization, Marketing, AWSI (AWS Industry), WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization), ProServe (Professional Service), and Investment team to drive synergy-building across initiatives to deliver substantial and far-reaching achievements

  • Lead the process to conclude the strategic initiatives/deals, to create significant new business opportunities for AWS.

  • Influence AWS Sales division team and enable the AWS sales teams to drive Generative AI programs.

  • Work with Marketing and Partner to maximize the reach and impact for scaling the initiatives.

About the team

As the Go-To-Market team, we are trusted advisors to customers, supporting their business growth through AWS technologies and solutions.

Our core responsibilities include generalizing common customer challenges into use cases, developing horizontal solutions leveraging AWS native services and partner offerings, driving sales plays, and establishing mechanisms for sales teams to propose solutions to customers.

We spearhead the ideation and execution of AWS' go-to-market strategy, collaborating cross-functionally. From research to solution development and deployment, current team members take an end-to-end approach, working closely with multiple AWS teams. While our team comprises experienced business development professionals, we provide comprehensive on-boarding, including training programs and shadowing opportunities, to help new members become cloud service experts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Total 715 years of career including 7+ years of business development or Go-To-Market or management/digital consulting or IT presales experience

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including fluent English as well as Japanese are basic requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • MBA, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Degree.

  • 3+ years of GTM experience in B-to-B

  • 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Experience in public cloud / software development / data center / infrastructure / networking technologies with ability to understand current and future customer needs and present AWS technical benefits.

  • The right person will be capable of catching up the business trend and understanding the complexities of IT environments across the industries.
