Amazon Deal Program Manager, Paid Services in Tokyo, Japan

Description

Interested in delivering world-class service to Amazon's Selling Partners? The Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS) program is designed to improve the Selling Partner experience on Amazon and accelerate growth through holistic account management by AMPS Merchant Consultants. Our team will invent and innovate through technology, expand programs to improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and enable global solutions by working with the US, EU and China teams.

We are seeking a Deal Program Manager to own the end-to-end of Deal program, from strategy building to project delivery. This role is responsible for defining strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, delivering growth projects working with multiple cross-functional teams, and leveraging stakeholders to measurably improve Deal quality and efficiency. This role is highly visible and directly responsible for influencing many levels of leadership and stakeholders across product, account management, finance, operations and technology.

The ideal candidate has a strong customer-driven mindset, business intuition, solid data analysis and stakeholder management skills. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communication and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish business strategy, plans and priorities for Deals

  • Monitor and report the business performance to stakeholders including senior leadership

  • Continuously improve and evolve the Deal program through various growth initiatives

  • Collaborate with domestic and global cross-functional teams

  • Dive deep into the issues to identify root cause, create and implement remediation plans

  • Lead business process automation in collaboration with the tech/product teams.

  • Responsible for documentation for business reviews and annual plans

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
