Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.

• Experience selling or supporting business intelligence tools, and using them to manipulate datasets and databases (e.g. Looker).

• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

• Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese with local stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools with a physical model.

• Experience in data analysis with SQL, Python, R, etc.

• Experience delivering technical presentations and live demonstrations.

• Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs.

• Experience in numerical analysis and advanced expertise in data modeling.

• Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes of our software to articulate use cases and value to the customer.

• Participate in selling the value of Looker’s products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live online and in-person product demonstrations.

• Manage customer trials, ensuring that they are engaging with the product, the trial, and the resulting solution.

• Articulate and educate on technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including developers, architects, and IT professionals.

• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs as necessary, leverage and build upon existing knowledge base.
