What's the Job
-Work with your team to win Corporate, Leisure and MICE business.
-Develop sales action plans which accurately interpret the objectives of the business for all market segments and your direct reports namely Corporate, Leisure and MICE.
-Driving the sales team to achieve and surpass their yearly targets that will bet set by you and in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Sales & Director of Sales.
-Manage the annual budget of the sales team.
-Make personal sales calls to appropriate customers to solicit and manage business in all key market segments.
-Evaluate the performance of the Department Personnel. Administrate a personal development program within own department to provide well trained employees at all levels and permit advancement for those qualified and interested in improving their positions.
-Provide guests with information (example: loyalty programs, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.
-Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services.
-Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
What we need from you
-Luxury Hotel sales experience in Tokyo (not mandatory)
-Native or Business level Japanese. Intermediate level of English if possible.
-Experience with Delphi is preferred.
-more than 3 years of sales role experience OR work experience in hotel industry (mandatory)
