Description
Cost and operational effectiveness to support the adoption of new technologies is key to accelerating the business and technological benefits of the AWS platform. AWS offers customers an alternative consumption model that differs from how businesses have traditionally bought IT by focusing on paying only for what you need. We're looking for a hands-on and motivated self-starter who's passionate about working directly with customers to help organizations adopt new processes, purchasing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to embrace technologies at scale and to ensure long-term customer success.
As Cloud Economics BDM, you will have the opportunity to engage with some of the largest customers in the world to help transform the way they purchase, manage, and optimize IT services. You will engage with customers’ Enterprise IT, Operations, and Finance teams to implement best practices for adoption and cost savings. This will include generating and providing recommendations on how customers can optimize their usage of AWS, services not considered, working to reengineer internal people and processes, and working with partners to ensure ongoing success. You will be experienced at working with large data sets, have a familiarity of IT transformation within large organizations, and working directly within the executive suite. You will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for AWS customers.

役割と責任
• クラウドコスト管理に関するトピックについて、顧客のIT部門、財務部門、経営幹部と協力する。
• FinOpsのベストプラクティスについてAWSの大口顧客を教育し、顧客がセルフサービスできるようにします。
• 顧客の報告および分析ニーズを評価し、そのニーズを満たすためのソリューションとアプローチを特定する。
• 顧客組織における変革および最適化の進捗と成功を追跡するためのKPIの伝達、設定、測定
• 組織内の多方面にわたる関係を構築し、社内啓蒙活動を推進し、顧客カバー範囲を拡大する。
基本資格
• IT、Financialな知識があることが望ましい
• 多分野のチームとのコラボレーションができること
• 財務データ分析の経験があれば尚可
• 新しいこと、特に新しい技術開発について学ぶ高い能力を有する。
• 事業開発、ITマネジメント、または経営コンサルティング業務における豊富な経験

• 成長著しいテクノロジー企業での勤務経験
• 的確なビジネス判断力、他者への影響力、強力な分析能力、オーナーシップを持ち、データ主導の分析を主導し、結果に影響を与えた実績を示す。
• スリムでペースの速い組織で成功裏に運営し、迅速に拡大できるビジョンと組織を作り上げることができる。
• MBAまたは同等のビジネス経験
• 文書および口頭でのコミュニケーションスキルが高く、上級管理職へのプレゼンテーションの実績がある。
• マネジメント・コンサルティング、ITトランスフォーメーション・コンサルティング、ビジネス・プロセス・デザインの経験
• クラウド、ITサービス、財務管理に関する具体的な知識と応用(予算、コスト、利用状況のトラッキング、AWSサービスやITインフラストラクチャへの精通を含む
• データセンター、ネットワーク/通信、サーバー利用、仮想環境、ストレージ、アプリケーション開発・保守を含むITインフラ領域の運用知識
• 高い分析力と問題解決能力、細部へのこだわり
• 複雑なデータを素早く理解する能力

Key job responsibilities
Become the subject matter expert in all cost and commercial related aspects of the customer life-cycle
Provide customers with cost related insights, metrics, and KPIs
Educate and enable customers with tools to successfully manage and IT spend
Assessing reporting and analytic needs of customers and identifying solution and approach to meet those needs.
Communicate, establish, and measure KPIs to track progress and success of transformation and optimization within customer organizations
Manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically
Understand and communicate cloud cost management strategies and best practices
About the team
Cloud Economics Engagements
The AWS Cloud Economics team helps customers identify and quantify value creation opportunities at each stage of their journey to the cloud. We engage directly and collaboratively with customers, partners and internal AWS teams to deliver cloud value advisory expertise, business value case development, and Cloud Financial Management best practices and methodologies. The Cloud Economics team can help answer the customer question: “What value can I expect to achieve by using AWS?”
Cloud Economics Scale
Cloud Economics Scale provides tooling, analysis, benchmarks, and insights to help customers better understand and quantify the IT and business benefits of using AWS. CES works with internal partner teams and customers to deliver cloud value advisory expertise, develop business cases, and answer the customer question: "What value can I expect to achieve by using AWS?

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
