What You Will Do

As a Senior Sourcing Agent, you\'ll lead the development and execution of global and regional sourcing strategies to enhance productivity, streamline supply chains, and support product development. You\'ll manage a diverse supplier base, find and qualify new suppliers, negotiate terms, drive supplier performance, and resolve issues. Collaborating with regional teams, you\'ll contribute to achieving supply chain goals and support broad business decisions.

Your role involves internal meetings, supplier interactions, and data analysis across product lines. You\'ll drive projects, manage competitive bids, and seek alternative suppliers as needed. With heightened responsibility and complexity, you\'ll apply best practices in purchasing to develop strategic category plans and foster supplier development. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement global or regional sourcing strategies for complex commodities with significant autonomy.
• Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and manage supplier relationships; conduct supplier rationalization and commodity risk assessments.
• Cost and Savings: Drive cost savings initiatives, support new product development, and provide commodity market updates. Manage annual commodity budgeting and align purchasing to sourcing strategies while meeting quality and delivery expectations.
• Commercial Management: Oversee contract management, product qualification, RFP processes, and negotiations. Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high integrity in all commercial activities.
• Supplier Qualification: Lead the qualification process per C1-0246, ensure deliverables are met, and verify first production runs or service completion meets cost and quality standards. Liaise between suppliers and engineering for design for manufacturability (DFM) and address technical issues.
• Performance Improvement: Use the Supplier Performance Scorecard to enhance supplier quality, delivery, cost, and lead time. Support supplier development and supply chain initiatives like lead time reduction and inventory management.
• Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to integrate suppliers early, meet project goals, and manage costs. Monitor supplier schedules and ensure timely product launches.
• Oracle Management: Maintain accuracy in Oracle database management for vendors and items.
• Process Improvement: Support process improvements and adherence to sourcing and purchasing procedures. Address internal customer inquiries about these processes.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in areas of sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain.
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in project management.
• Ability to adjust and adapt to client issues.
• Experience with supplier management, contract negotiations, and bids.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.
• Experience utilizing PowerPoint and Oracle.
• Global sourcing in industrial products and packaging preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or Spark a plus.
