APPRENTICE INSTALLER / TECHNICIAN Non negotiable requirements: \' Current Washington or Oregon Driver\'s License \' Clean driving record \' Ability to pass a background check and drug test. o (there is zero tolerance for drugs for field crews because of the requirements of some of the customer\'s we work for, including the government) \' Mechanically inclined \' natural ability to rationalize the technical mechanics of a process or item. \' Not afraid of tall ladders or heights \' Able to lift 50lbs easily \' job requires technicians/installers to load and unload doors and ladders daily. \' Physical ability to go up and down ladders routinely. \' Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions if necessary \' Ability to work overtime if necessary with little or no prior notice \' dependent on customer needs (We do try to keep as regular schedule as possible though) \' Ability to have great attendance / no lateness or excessive absences. \' Ability to use an I-pad and ability/willingness to learn field software Non negotiable Soft Skills requirements: Must Meet our Core Values \' Professional \' Knowledgeable \' Attention to Detail \' Adaptable \' Helpful Professional \' in appearance, actions, and communication. Appreciate the differences in people\'s personalities and thinking process, be patient. \' Great communication skills \' written and verbal \' Self Starter, can reliably work un-supervised without becoming distracted \' Experience/Ability (not opposed) to learning sales for technicians in the field Skills that are desired but not required: \' Experience driving box truck \' Experience loading trucks \' Experience hauling flat bed trailer \' Experience/Ability to drive forklift and/or scissor lift \' Experience in a mechanics job or in construction area Skills given top consideration \' Experience installing garage doors \' residential and/or commercial \' Experience Repairing garage doors and/or operators \' Experience with many types of power tools \' Experience with structural construction \' ie. Framing, constructing pole barns, etc. \' Experience with welding \' Experience in leadership \' management, foreman, education in leadership/business \' Experience with daily farm/dairy work for more than 2 years
