Resideo HSE Engineering Manager in TIJUANA, Mexico

Join an organization that demonstrates a proactive health and safety management system, combined with strong employee engagement and environment that fosters continuous improvement. You will provide leadership and oversight to the HSE&F functions, activities and performance for the site, establishing strong working relationships with site leadership team and the employees. You will report directly to the Plant Director. You will be a key leader for the facility managing sustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes. You will ensure the manufacturing site keeps in front of leading practices in health and safety standards. Integrate, monitor, and support Health, Safety programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, procedures, and regulations Incorporate continuous improvement using Resideo's Health and Safety initiatives. Provide consultation and proactive integration of HSE&F initiatives, keeping the site on leading edge on safety awareness.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Sustain HSE&F standards

  • Provide technical assistance

  • Site compliance reviews

  • Strong MOS administration

  • Effective coach and role model

  • Deploys safety initiatives

  • Measures key HSEF metrics

  • Drives standard work

  • Ensures compliance standards

  • Supervise Site Security

  • Internal/External Audits by Local Authorities Management

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

  • 5+ Years of experience in HSE Engineering Leadership roles

  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, facilities, or related field

  • Knowledge in ISO14001, ISO45001 Certifications

  • Knowledge in Country compliance laws

  • Advanced English Proficiency

  • Available for traveling

  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills

  • Significant experience in HSE&F field
