Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

RESPONSABILITIES:
Make decisions to ensure that the final product meets the most current customer input requirements.
Leads a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, develop and implement new products that meet customer requirements.
Authorize and /or justify purchases for the acquisition of equipment, machinery, tools, materials, etc., necessary for the development of new products and/ or models.
Manage all your staff a burden to carry out their activities in an efficient, effective and at a lower cost, maximizing the budget to meet the objectives set.
Participates in continuous improvement and advises all departments on technical conflict situations for the resolution of engineering problems. -Coordinates activities with other departments (Production, Quality, Materials, HumanResources, Maintenance) to ensure that new products are implemented in an effective way, guaranteeing the best quality, manufacturing, operation and at the lowest cost.
It ensures that all documentation and records which provide evidence that the design, validation and verification of the design were developed, collected, archived and maintained according to the documentation requirements.
Responsible for selecting its staff with the characteristics and capabilities necessary for the development and proper functioning of the engineering department.
Responsible for a good administration of the productive spaces and in general of the plant (Layout).
Supervises or conducts research, studies and special tests to evaluate the efficiency of new designs.
Supervises, trains and motivates their subordinates to develop their activities in a coordinated manner and in a good working environment.
Plan, delegate and distribute activities and functions in an equitable manner.
Directs the engineering staff in the formulation of plans, designs, cost estimates and specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Industrial Engineering or related career, Master's degree or higher (desirable).
Black Belt Certification (desirable)
5 to 7 years of experience in similar positions
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
