Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our construction supply distribution company. In this role, you will utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to unload shipments from vendors, accurately place items within the warehouse, and pull orders for customers. Although this position does not involve sales, you will interact with customers and ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to unload shipments from vendors.

• Place items accurately within the warehouse.

• Pull and prepare customer orders ensuring accuracy.

• Maintain a high level of customer service during interactions.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating forklifts.

• Proficiency in warehouse operations.

• Skilled in material handling.

• Experience in order picking and loading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior production or machine operation experience.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Comfortable working around fiberglass.

Work Environment

You will work in a big, open warehouse environment that holds construction supplies, similar to a Lowe's or Home Depot. The bay door is always open, so the indoor temperature will be similar to the outdoor temperature.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TIGARD, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
