Description We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in the Service industry. Based in Thousand Palms, California, this role focuses on maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role involves working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors • Reconcile the bank statements • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM for various financial operations • Maintain accurate customer credit records • Collaborate with the accounting manager to assure all financial transactions are accounted for and documented • Assist in the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems • Conduct month-end and year-end close process • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Must be capable of conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is necessary

• Should be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Must be able to handle Month End Close tasks

• Experience with MS Dynamics CRM is a plus

• Candidates with experience in the Restaurants & Catering industry are preferred

• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Should have a strong ethical framework and respect for confidentiality

• Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on accurate analyses

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
