Responsibilities
This is a hands-on position that involves performing research, conducting experiments and gathering data in a plant environment while leading action teams to drive results. There is opportunity to study current production processes, recommend improvements utilizing the Boise Improvement Cycle and gain exposure to multiple departments. Successful candidates will develop broad, comprehensive knowledge and experience of the overall business in a plant environment, including but not limited to: safety, manufacturing processes and products, supervision, human resources, process improvement, engineering, finance, special projects, etc. Other duties as assigned.
This is a Developmental position designed to provide the individual with the opportunity for exposure to various facets of the business and to develop an in-depth understanding of the operations/function at the region and/or plant level. The successful candidate will possess the ability to understand and apply mathematical calculations and concepts, computer skills in many types of applications and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
