Hiring a Maintenance Manager in Thornton, CO
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise a team of maintenance professionals and work alongside them to perform hands-on repairs. The ideal candidate will develop and implement maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and repairs, and will be familiar with Lean practices. This role involves a mix of 50% management and 50% hands-on work.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise a maintenance team of six members
Perform hands-on repairs alongside the team related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and conveyors
Develop and implement maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and repairs
Conduct performance reviews, interviews, and manage the firing of maintenance team members
Ensure the maintenance team adheres to Lean practices
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in maintenance
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a maintenance team in an industrial setting
Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to manage and work hands-on with the team
Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance
Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting
Lean Six Sigma experience is a huge plus

Work Environment:
The position offers a flexible shift from 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $110000.00
