As the Plant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the future of our Thomaston manufacturing facility, overseeing a dedicated team of approximately 135 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovate and Implement: Collaborate with the PLT to design and execute cutting-edge operations and processes, prioritizing safety, quality, service, and cost-efficiency.
Leadership Excellence: Guide and inspire your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Strategic Oversight: Lead the plant’s continuous improvement plan, conducting regular reviews with the PLT to assess progress, analyze challenges, facilitate solutions, and allocate resources effectively.
Problem Solver: Identify and address operational issues, ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field with seven (7) years of manufacturing operations management or leadership assignments demonstrating a progression of increased scope and responsibility
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Five (5) years of experience managing employees with supervisory responsibilities
Experience managing multi-shift
Ability to be on-call 24/7
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, cost analysis and budgeting, people management, and leadership guidance
Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable
Prior Plant Manager, Production or Operations Management experience at a large site, preferred
Continuous operations, preferred
Paper converting, chemical or plastics processing, or packaging industrial experience, preferred
Lean manufacturing experience, preferred
