Indorama Ventures - Indovinya is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Procurement Analyst (Co-Op) supporting our corporate office in The Woodlands, TX (Mostly remote, occasional in office). In this role, you will join our task force for executing rapid repricing initiatives for a petrochemical company’s tail-end suppliers. The main objective of this exercise is to facilitate lower costs with suppliers either in terms of lower rates, rebates, or both. The ideal candidate will conduct financial analysis of supplier’s health, issue letters, monitor and report progress, track responses, and execute responses using predefined scripts/scenarios. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for submitting SAP vendor change reports and regularly tracking savings.

What will be expected from you?

Research & Financial Assessment

• Conduct a financial health analysis on shortlisted suppliers and recommend rapid repricing targets

• Review and finalize recommendation with specialists and consultants on the project

• Propose negotiation levers for each of the target buckets

Issue Letters, Track and Execute Responses:

• Utilize digital tools to issue mass rapid repricing letters to shortlisted suppliers

• Monitor supplier responses and execute first-level responses using predefined scripts/scenarios

• Ensure timely and accurate responses to supplier queries and issues

Monitor & Report Progress:

• Track and document the progress of the rapid repricing initiative

• Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders

Submit SAP Change Reports:

• Prepare and submit vendor change reports in SAP as required by the repricing initiative

• Ensure all changes are accurately documented and communicated

Regularly Track Savings:

• Monitor and report on the savings achieved through the repricing initiative

• Maintain accurate records of savings and related data

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

• Must be a full-time college student at the Junior or Senior level by the beginning of Fall 2024, currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field

• 3.0 GPA or higher required

• Proven experience in an administrative or PMO role, preferably in procurement or supply chain a plus

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
