The FEC Commissioning Completions Lead will be part of the GOM F&C Commissioning Proj Team and will support the Gulf of Mexico business unit in managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.
• • Leadership for HES performance
• Assist the Manager, FEC Commissioning with the development of a standardized process for the application of digital Completions Management. The process will need to robustly provide the technical assurance of project delivery while maintaining flexibility such that it can be applied to a wide scale of projects and execution models.
• Act as primary interface with chosen CMS software provider.
• Develop and provide training for new users of the tool. Champion the use of digital completions across all projects.
• Lead the administration of the Completions Management System (CMS). Ensure resource needs are identified, sourced, and managed for all FEC projects and Operations performed activities.
• Act as primary interface with Oxy IT services for the administration of the CMS and its interface with other OXY digital delivery tools.
• Support all project stakeholders with the development and administration of efficient and standardized progress reporting and integration of completions data with project services.
• Act as primary interface with FEC Engineering contractors and vendors regarding content and format of engineering meta-data.
• Maintain a pro-active mindset in the adaptation of the established processes.
• Establish and maintain a standard suite of Inspection Test Records (ITRs). Ensure relevant Technical SMEs are consulted for any altered or bespoke ITRs.
• Development of relationships with contractors, partners, and internal stakeholders to enable strong project deliveries and effective problem resolution
• Responsible for project assignments and guidance for subordinates
• Responsible for career development and training for subordinates
• Responsible for performance reviews for subordinates
Qualifications
Required:
• • Minimum 12 years of experience in completions management
• Knowledge of industry best practices
• Minimum 2 year of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects
• Experience implementing and integrating new tools / software
• Experience in Agile practices
• Understanding of data management / information management best practices
• Strong understanding of risk identification & mitigation, management of change, and interface management processes and how they interact with completions management
• Working understanding of the US Gulf of Mexico regulatory requirements and current industry standards
• • Minimum High School diploma or GED
