Job Title: Yard Supervisor

Job Description

Supervise and coordinate the activities of riggers, Mijack operators, and drivers. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, schedule and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of riggers, Mijack operators, and drivers.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

• Schedule and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Investigate accidents and identify root causes to prevent future incidents.

Essential Skills

• Supervision experience

• Concrete handling

• Experience overseeing yard drivers, CDL drivers, and riggers

• Equipment maintenance knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with equipment maintenance and safety protocols

• Effective communication skills

• Reliability

• CDL is a plus but not necessary

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of The Villages, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
