We are currently seeking a General Laborer for our precast concrete facility in The Villages, FL. This is a 3rd shift opportunity, where you will be responsible for supporting the production team with various tasks, including using hand tools, reading a tape measure, and ensuring high standards of quality in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Labor : Assist in the production and assembly of precast concrete products, including preparing and setting forms.

• Tool Use : Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools to aid in production and assembly.

• Accurate Measurement : Use a tape measure and other measuring tools to ensure the correct dimensions of products.

• Quality Control : Assist with basic quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.

• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Physical Labor : Be prepared for some heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Work Environment:

• Precast Concrete Facility : Work in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment.

• Indoor and Outdoor Work : Expect to work both inside and outside with exposure to various weather conditions.

• Non-Air Conditioned Facility : Comfortably work in a facility that may not be climate-controlled.

Qualifications:

• Experience : Previous experience in general labor, construction, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.

• Skills :

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

• Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure and understanding measurements.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

• A solid work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
