The Pharmacy team plays an integral role by managing the use of medications in hospital with goals include the selection, prescription, procuration, delivery, administration, and review of medications to optimize patient outcomes and assures that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Pharmacy team for answers.

Pharmacy Tech Essential Job Duties:
This position will be a Medical Reconciliation Tech.
Assists with charging/crediting patient accounts.
Accurately maintains required documentation.
Assists with monetary functions as appropriate.
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the prescription dispensing process.
Monitors medication and supply inventory and receives order from wholesaler.
Maintains a clean and organized environment.
Education, Training & Experience:
Certified Technician by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of general math concepts and ability to work accurately with figures.
General knowledge of the metric system, Latin abbreviations, and medical terminology (on the job training).
Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
