Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Job Description

PART TIME (30-35 hours/week)

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• General ledger related activities:

  • Data collection for entries/vouchers

  • Month-end closing

  • Support reports preparation

• Costing related activities:

  • Material receiving tracking and reconciliation

  • Material cost calculation and maintenance

  • OT related calculation and reporting

  • Transportation cost related tracking and reporting

  • PO verification and pricing checks

  • Review exception/variance and drive for corrections

  • Re-costing for errors

  • Update any inventory related forms if needed

• Sales related activities:

  • Intercompany pricing calculation and maintenance

  • Special pricing tracking

• Ad-hoc:

  • Assist the accounting department as time permits or during critical times

  • Provide backup for other accounting department staff as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

This is a fully on-site position in Terre Haute, Indiana.
