EVS Coordinator
Essential Job Duties:
Coordinates staffing and scheduling with the manager or supervisor, ensuring adequate coverage and maintaining accurate records.
Oversees bed management by assigning staff to beds during bottlenecks and prioritizing discharge cleanings.
Acts as a liaison between staff, managers, and other departments, facilitating clear communication and workflow.
Maintains documentation and operational reports, including shift recaps, isolation room UV light usage, and bed bug reporting.
Qualifications:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage patient flow and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various hospital departments.
Experience in environmental services required.
Experience in information technology required.
