TERLINGUA RANCH PROPERTY Cafe Manager in TERLINGUA, Texas
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Caf Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Bad Rabbit Cafe; schedule, train and supervise Cafe staff; maintain inventory, purchasing, health department and TABC Compliance; This position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Caf Manager will have: a high school diploma or GED equivalent, proven supervisory, organizational and time management skills, effective communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
- Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies.
- Set Caf menu
- Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation
regulations.
- Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
- Monitors compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation
and serving and building maintenance in dining facilities.
- Coordinates assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food
and timely preparation.
- Schedules and receives food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents
to verify product quality and quantity.
- Monitors budget and reviews financial transactions to ensure that expenditures
are authorized and budgeted.
- Maintains food and equipment inventories and keeps inventory records.
- Schedules staff hours and assigns duties.
- Establishes standards for personnel performance and customer service in the
Cafe.
- Complete performance reviews of cafe staff, create correction or action plans as
