BMW of Tenafly, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an automotive Shop Foreman to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

As the Shop Foreman, you will maintain the highest levels of quality and productivity in the service department to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired properly for a superior customer experience.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to make complex decisions in a timely manner.

  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment, with 2-5 years of supervisor experience preferred, and Master Level credentials (e.g., ASE certification)

  • BMW experience preferred, but not required.

  • Excellence: Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and practical expertise through the study of technical manuals and bulletins, classroom training, communication with factory service representatives and actual hands-on experience.

  • Collaboration: Actively assist service technicians with diagnosis and repair of vehicles, personally inspect all major repair jobs for proper completion, and meet with group leaders and management to review performance and administrative matters.

  • Leadership: Coordinate and conduct on-going training for service technicians, set goals based on individual skill levels, and create an environment for high productivity through motivational leadership.
