**[Job Summary

[Under the general supervision of the Certified Master Mechanic, the ATI is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to specification. The ATI should be able to effectively and professionally communicate the diagnosis and repairs required to complete the service.

[Duties and Responsibilities]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}**

• Diagnoses, repairs, and orders parts for vehicle and equipment systems
• Performs repairs on systems such as engines, brakes, cooling, plus starting and charging.
• Performs electrical diagnostic tests.
• Ability to read schematic and wiring diagram.
• Ability to use DVOM Digital Multimeter
• Maintains accurate records of services performed.
• Stays current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Cleans tools and maintains a clean/orderly work area.

[Working Conditions and Physical Requirements]{new="" roman="" times=""}

• Ability to lift up to (70) pounds to shoulder height frequently.
• Ability to stand for duration of scheduled shift.
• Must be able to arrive on time and in uniform at designated times.
