Job Schedule: 1st shift - 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

As a Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in maintaining product quality and ensuring process integrity. You will be tasked with conducting product reviews, developing test procedures, and formulating qualification test plans. Your analytical skills will be crucial in dissecting complex specifications and executing root cause analyses to implement effective corrective actions.

We are in search of a proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented engineer who is dedicated to driving quality-centric transformations within our organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Support day-to-day Quality Inspection and Test personnel.

  • Review and disposition product, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

  • Lead zero defect projects (ZDP), continuous improvement projects, and government qualification test plans (QTP).

  • Effectivly communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

  • Perform data analysis, failure analysis, and root cause & corrective action.

  • Develop and revise work instructions and test procedures.

  • Present results to management, including data-driven business recommendations and solutions.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a US security clearance within first year of employment.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevent field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills and an innate desire to learn and continually improve.

  • Robust understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, Quality Management Systems, and knowledge of design techniques, tools, and related principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

  • Knowledge of practical application of Engineering science and technology; including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of products.

  • Strong statistical skills including 8D, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and regression analysis.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Minitab, and Microsoft Visio.
