Seeking a Call Center Representative in the Tempe area!Job Description
As a Call Center Representative, you will support thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication. You will verify necessary specifications on trucks, coordinate and communicate updates daily, and assist with arrivals, loading, unloading, and departures at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. This role requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities
Support drivers using two-way audio/video communication
Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks
Coordinate and communicate updates with all parties involved in warehouse and distribution center operations
Manage gate operations to allow onsite associates to focus on their tasks
Communicate clearly with approximately 200 drivers daily
Essential Skills
Customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong phone etiquette
Great customer skills and awareness
Technical savviness in logistics, intermodal, supply chain, and call center operations
Excellent communication and people skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of high-volume customer support experience (call center preferred)
Experience in retail customer service
Strong job tenure
Ability to follow SOPs and strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
Quick learning capability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Training is conducted in person/on-site for 3 weeks (M-F), 8am - 4:30pm, transitioning on the 3rd or 4th week. Post-training schedule requires flexibility to work 5 days a week, including weekends, with potential mandatory extra time from October through January. Regular hours range from 6am - 6pm, 10-hour shifts. Onsite work is required 5 days a week with no work from home or hybrid options. Candidates must be open to working holidays and variable shift patterns including weekends
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
