Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic – Electrical Controls role involves working on a variety of semi-automated robotics, CNC machines, optical tools, thermal chambers, vacuum pumps, lathes and mills, as well as automated PCB printing and soldering machines. You should have a solid understanding of the National Electric Code and basic electrical principles. You will also periodically work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to all PPE, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), and safety protocols. Are you ready to succeed in this essential role? Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of technical duties including diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing electrical and electronic circuits and equipment for production operations and electromechanical systems.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, repair manuals, and detailed drawings.

  • Research parts, equipment, or other solutions as needed to assist engineering and maintenance staff.

  • Help coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and set up work site.

  • Complete and review records, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure a clean work environment.

  • Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of experience in technical installation, maintenance and repair.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Skilled in using hand tools and test equipment.

  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting using equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes, AC & DC power supplies.

  • Experience in programming PLCs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field.

  • Knowledge and experience with SAP and CMMS.
