Chapman Chevrolet & Isuzu is looking for skilled Isuzu Truck Technicians to join our rapidly growing Fleet Service Center team! Our Isuzu Technicians are skills in regular maintenance services, and diagnosis and repairs of complex vehicle problems, helping our clients keep their fleet running optimally. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with Isuzu trucks and is well versed in Isuzu guidelines. At Chapman, you can expect to work in a collaborative, team environment, working closely with other technicians, Service Consultants and the Parts Department. This role reports to the Fleet Service Manager.

Core Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to Isuzu truck systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Complete comprehensive routine vehicles inspections to ensure safety and reliability
- Execute work specified on the repair order to dealership and Isuzu standards
- Inform the Service Advisor of all recommended maintenance or additional repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete additional services
- Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer requirements
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on Isuzu trucksrequired
- ASE certifications preferred
- Must have your own tools
- Concentrated and thorough, demonstrating strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- General computer skills
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Hours and Work Environment
Our Fleet Service Center is open Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm.We ask that all applicants have the availability to work any of the days and times listed.
