Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for anEnvironmental Section Directorin our Phoenix office.

B&N Environmental Section Director Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with B&N business leaders, develop and implement a business plan and marketing strategy to launch a new environmental services section within Arizona, based in the Tempe office
  • Work with B&N business leaders to develop and meet budgets for the environmental section, including utilization rates, net contract value goals, and budgets for new business, general office and training
  • Engage the Marketing and Communications team on proposal development for project pursuits Represent B&N in meetings, marketing functions, and conferences
  • In collaboration with Human Resources, Identify and recruit staff that display B&Ns core values and fit our culture to hire to build the group as appropriate
  • Identify strategic teaming partners within the consultant community
  • Lead and perform environmental services for clients throughout Arizona
  • Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery
  • Maintain oversight of project planning and production efforts consistent with B&Ns delivery process
  • Contribute towards the development of B&Ns Arizona marketing strategy that focuses on providing excellent repeat services to our current clients and expanding our client base

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or related degree
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS and Revu Bluebeam
  • Ability to motivate project teams in meeting clients needs while maintaining budget objectives
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining client relationships
  • Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills and detail oriented
