CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mills Machine Set-Up Technician with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC Mills machine set-up, preferably in the aerospace industry. You will work with various materials, including aluminum, plastic, and steel, and will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, as well as performing manual inspections using gauges and instruments. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position operates on a Monday-Thursday schedule from 2:30pm-10:00pm with a 15% shift differential and mandatory overtime on Fridays.

Hard Skills

• 5 years of CNC Mills machine set-up experience

• Experience with Haas and/or Mori DMG Machines

• Familiarity with various materials (aluminum, plastic, steel)

• Blueprint reading and interpretation

• Manual inspection using gauges and instruments

• Troubleshooting mill machine breakdowns

Soft Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.

Work Environment

Fast-paced team environment with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Shift: M-Th 2:30pm-10:00pm with a 15% shift differential and mandatory OT on Fridays.
