Aerotek Cable Assembler 20-27hr in Tempe, Arizona

Job Title: Cable Assembler

Job Description

1st Shift: Flexible start time but 4 x 10s Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Wire harness assembly

  • Mil-spec connectors

  • Connectors experience

  • Solder small components onto PCBs and cables to connectors

  • Work under a microscope

  • Use small hand tools for electronic work

  • Work in clean room

  • Sit at work station entire shift

  • Work from wiring diagrams, customer specifications, drawings, blueprints

Hard Skills

  • Working in clean room

  • Wire harness assembly

  • Round connector experience - milspec connectors

  • Wire crimping

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.

Work Environment

Our Client operates in the Aerospace and Professional Services business segments. The Aerospace segment includes design, systems integration, structural modifications to convert business aircraft into special mission ISR aircraft, custom gun controls and defense electronics, aircraft avionics manufacturing, overhaul, repair, and installation, and the manufacture of fuel system safety devices for the Boeing 737 and 747.
