We are looking for someone to fill a 1st Grind position at Jtekt in Telford, Tn. This is a B Tech position. You must be mechanically inclined. You will work Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm with overtime as needed. This position can start tomorrow. It is temp to hire. Pay starts at $18/hr with a raise when you get hired on. Responsibilities

Determine causes of machine malfunctions, make adjustments or repair in order for machines to process materials in accordance with specifications. • Perform adjustments and address short stops to reduce production line stop. Perform tool changes. • Perform operational preventive maintenance according to schedules. Assist in grinding wheel changes. • Check cycle times to insure production process is in accordance with process specifications. • Read dial indicators and other measuring devices to insure quality standards are met. If manufacturing process is causing quality issues, Set-Up Operator will stop production and consult with Group Leader personnel to correct. (Stop, Call, and Wait). • Set-Up equipment for production. Record production results, quality checks, and scrap as required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 40lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
