Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Infrastructure Responsibilities:

1. Design core, backend software components

2. Code using primarily C/C++, Java, PHP and Hack

3. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa

4. Conduct design and code reviews

5. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources

Minimum Qualifications:

6. Programming experience in a relevant programming language

7. Relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure systems or similar experience

8. Experience identifying, designing and completing medium to large features independently without guidance

9. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or Hack

10. Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability

11. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
