Lead/Sr. Java Developer (Hybrid)

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Developer with experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. • The ideal candidate will have experience in the Investment Bank and functional domain.
• Knowledge of Prime Brokerage preferred with 7 + years of experience.
• Collaborate with the team and client on the tasks.
• Actively Participate in all phases of development.
• Have knowledge of Agile practices and work with the team on Agile methodology.

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Core JAVA, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, JDBC, Spring Batch), Hibernate.
• Distributed Caching, EhCache.
• In memory data stores: Ignite or Redis.
• Distributed processing frameworks like Apache Flink.
• Web Servers: Apache, Tomcat, Jetty, Reverse proxies.
• Any Sybase/SQL Server/Oracle/RDBMS Fine tuning.
• Rest Web Services with Microservices architecture.
• Kafka Connect/Kafka streams, JMS, MQ, Tibco.
• Maven, IntelliJ, GIT /SVN, JIRA, Jupyter Notebook.
• Python, Linux Shell, YAML, Groovy Scripting.
• Kubernetes Cloud deployment.
• S3 Cloud storage.
• Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK monitoring.
• Workload automation tools: Autosys, Apache Airflow.
• Software quality tooling: SonarQube, Nexus, Fortify.
• TDD / XP / Scrum / Agile Development Practices.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K - $135K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
