Eaton Corporation Test Engineer - Electronic in Tczew, Poland
The position is a part of the Global Lab organisation and based in EMEA, Tczew Poland. A Test Team Member will help define requirements, contribute in definition of Test Bench software design, test equipment maintenance, define/modify test procedures and perform tests and prepare Technical Reports. Achieving the desired results will require individual contributions as well as contributions attained as part of a team. The Test Engineer works closely with engineers located in various locations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
What you’ll do:
Product test set-up preparations, test bench modification/upgrades, Leading test tequests based on local/global procedures with compliance with Customer requirements (IATF) for Mobility group.
Prepare, track and manage maintenance and development projects of hardware and software in test field.
Communicate with global Mobility Group engineering teams to define test equipment and software to meet requirements of test.
Plan and coordinate maintenance, facility work and investments in test area.
Continuously monitor and improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency, safety, quality and value-to-cost ratio.
Design and improve tests methods, hardware and software, test gauging and measuring equipment.
Especially high skills in configuration and programming (LabView, Python, PLC, etc.) of test stands.
Develop and build new test rigs and test equipment with expert skills in using all test rigs in the test departments with knowledge to demonstrate and training.
Build, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Design and improvement of test methods and procedures (both creation and modification).
Support assurance of product compliance to engineering, manufacturing and OEM standards.
Qualifications:
Master degree of Institiute of Technology, Electrotechnical/Automation or related field.
Min. 1 year of professional experience in test/electronic area.
Skills:
Skills in configuration and programming (LabView, Phyton, PLC, etc.) of test stands.
Electronic/Electrotechnical/Automation/Mechatronics knowledge.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Problem solving, time management.
Good command both in Polish and English.
