Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate assists in the daily functions of the warehouse. This position is responsible for overseeing inspections of incoming goods and for overseeing all receiving and processing functions. Essentially, they handle all receiving in the warehouse. From maintaining 2-bin and consolidating ongoing warehouse parts, the Warehouse Specialist A must keep close tabs on all facets of warehouse operations. Additionally, this position is responsible for leading continuous improvement projects for the department.

Candidates will be working on a team of 6, each with their own position (shipping, packaging, etc.). This person's sole purpose is to manage the receiving portion of the warehouse.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: ❖ Responsible for all receiving - Unloading all overseas containers and air shipments - Unloading all domestic goods including but not limited to small parcel shipments - Checking in and physically moving all inbound freight into assigned locations - Receiving and processing all goods into ISAH with appropriate paperwork (packing slips, POD, etc.) with accurate locations and quantities - Providing all receiving paperwork to accounting ❖ Responsible for incoming inspection - Checking and verifying the goods we receive (checking 1 box for verification of correct product and quantity) - Checking for physical defects - Checking technical functionality of parts according to AQL method ❖ Responsible for 2-Bin maintenance and checking of work from 2-Bin replenisher ❖ Responsible for ongoing part consolidation and warehouse and part organization ❖ Lead all continuous improvement projects - Full warehouse re-organization (physical and ISAH) with accurate locations and quantities - Part consolidation - 2-Bin restructure - Spare parts warehouse - Etc.

POTENTIAL SIDE DUTIES: ❖ Pack, wrap & ship machines as needed ❖ Replenishing 2-Bin as needed ❖ Replenishing production line for non-2-Bin parts ❖ Complete spare parts orders ❖ Ad hoc duties as assigned

*This is a fast-paced position *This position involves a lot of multi-tasking

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Occasional OT, potential Saturdays (not very common)

Work Environment

This individual will be working in the warehouse. It is a quiet environment. It is clean and climate controlled. Everyone works together as a team and is very friendly. The new warehouse manager is looking for people that will help grow this company. He is not looking for a 'warm body' just to move product. He wants team-oriented, self-starters, self-motivated, personable people to move up in his warehouse. Personality is just as important as skillset to him.

There are 4 areas of the warehouse where our candidates will be cross-trained: 1. Parcels (picking/packing/UPS) 1a). Picking, packing, and UPS labeling

2. Inbound 2a). Physically and systematically receiving inbound product/shipments

3. Outbound 3a). Packing, boxing, matching pick tickets, wrapping and banding boxes, and loading finished product onto trucks

4. Production support 4a). Picking part numbers from request to keep the production line filled.
