Case Design & Fabricating, LLC Cabinet Fabricator Apprentice in Taylor, Michigan
Case Design + Fabricating, a manufacturer of custom millwork and casework, is looking for a skilled Cabinetry and Millwork Installer to join our growing team in Taylor, MI.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and confirm site conditions prior to install -- develop and discuss solutions to issue as necessary with project manager
- Check product in against shipper and inform project manager of any missing or damaged pieces
- Install cabinets, countertops, and other millwork components according to shop drawings and customer specifications
- Ensure accurate measurements and precise installation to achieve a high-quality finish
- Cut, trim, and assemble components as needed
- Coordinate with other tradespeople as necessary to ensure smooth on-site collaboration
- Inspect installed work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards
- Identify and resolve any installation issues or defects
- Assist with various tasks in the mill shop between installation jobs -- including but not limited to preparing product for shipping/transportation, maintaining shop floor organization, and cabinet/millwork fabrication (training for all available on-the-job)
