Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in TAYLOR, Michigan. This role involves handling fuel vendor and team member inquiries, reconciling daily fuel draft notices, and utilizing the latest computer technology to maintain fuel vendor accounts payable data. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of fuel drafts to apply payments to supplier invoices daily

• Ensure fuel invoices are properly resolved and match to the supplier draft notices

• Respond to vendor and team member questions and inquiries

• Reconcile daily fuel draft notices to the bank statement

• Maintain exceptions for daily fuel drafts

• Generate and maintain accounts payable data using the latest computer technology

• Stay updated on knowledge in the field as it relates to the business

• Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation is required.

• Experience in handling check runs is essential.

• Must have practical knowledge in coding invoices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial.

• Must have strong data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Familiarity with the energy/natural resources industry will be advantageous.

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy is necessary.

• Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Must be able to work independently and also collaboratively in a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are required, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Must be adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven problem-solving skills are essential.

• Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
