Job Description Summary

Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• A. Production Planning:- Prepare the master production plan based on demand forecasts and production capacities;- Monitor and control the material and resource needs to meet production;- Adjust the planning according to changes in customer demand, capacity, and availability of materials;

• B. Programming and Monitoring: - Schedule and monitor production daily, weekly and monthly; - Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed; - Coordinate with departments the purchasing, inventory and logistics to ensure the availability of materials;

• C. Process Control and Optimization: - Analyze and optimize production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs and deadlines; - Implement and monitor production performance indicators (KPIs); - Perform capacity analysis and workload balancing of suppliers;

• D. Interface with Internal Teams: - Interaction with engineering and quality teams to solve problems that may affect production; - Participate in planning and status meetings with other areas of the company; - Provide information and reports to senior management;

• E. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for improvement in production processes and implement optimization projects; - Use continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing; - Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the team;

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Administration, Logistics or related areas;

• ​Solid experience of in production planning or project planning; (5 years);​

• Knowledge in ERP systems and planning tools;

• Desirable knowledge in SAP;

• Advanced English knowledge;

• Desirable Intermediate Spanish knowledge;
