You will become a part of a Local Logistic Team. The key role will be to organize the day-to-day operations of aspects among other door-to-door international shipping and import/export, tracking shipments, and cooperation with freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. In addition, they resolve delivery-related customer service issues and ensure that logistics processes comply with applicable regulations.

You will work with latest IT technologies in a truly global team, together with global freight procurement team and in close contact with colleagues from production. We offer a time permanent contract in a dynamic team, with the possibility of development and raising qualifications while maintaining the so-called work-life balance.

The Logistics Specialist reports to the Logistics Manager. Office location is Tasnad, Romania.

Job Responsibilities

As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible to understand business needs, propose and create optimized solutions on the global One ERP platform, based on SAP.

In your areas of responsibility, you will need to:

  • Identification and resolution of problems related to the area of​​operation

  • Improving existing processes

  • Organizing transport from preferred logistics operators

  • Monitoring the timeliness, quality and payment of transport services

  • Handling complaints related to transport, including enforcing payments from transport insurance policies

  • Searching for root causes and solving problems in cooperation with carriers, business partners and the logistics organization

  • Preparation of export documentation and supervision of the correctness of customs clearance carried out by customs agencies

  • Participation in local, regional and global logistics projects
