We're looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our diverse set of machinery and heavy equipment. In this role, you'll ensure operational efficiency and longevity of our key manufacturing assets. The ideal candidate is someone who not only has a thorough understanding of heavy machinery but also demonstrates a strong problem-solving ability and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: - Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance of heavy equipment and machinery. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines. - Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replace defective parts. - Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and repairs. - Adhere to all safety policies and regulations in the workplace. - Collaborate with the team to enhance machine reliability and performance. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the manufacturing industry. - Familiarity with various types of manufacturing machinery and heavy equipment. - Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - A valid drivers license and clean driving record. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, Heavy Equipment Mechanic Certification) are preferred.
