We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Business Development to join our executive team and drive our growth and expansion strategy. This position is location ON-SITE in Tampa, FL

Summary

The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for spearheading the company’s business growth initiatives by developing and executing strategic plans that encompass sales and marketing. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in business development, sales, and marketing within the supplement or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue and market share growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.

  • Identify new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and channels for business expansion.

  • Lead the integration of sales and marketing efforts to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

  • Analyze business development, sales, and marketing data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to the executive team, highlighting key insights and growth opportunities

    Sales Oversight:

  • Direct and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.

  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, and ensure accountability.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.

  • Monitor inventory levels of finished goods

  • Implement sales training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.

    Marketing Oversight:

  • Oversee the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing plans, including digital marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising.

  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.

    Product and Market Development:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to align new product launches with market needs and sales strategies.

  • Provide market insights and feedback to guide product innovation and improvement.

  • Drive the go-to-market strategy for new products and services.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing sales and marketing within the supplement or related industry.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and sales processes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in CRM software and business analytics tools.
