Job Title:Voice Engineer
Job Location:MacDill AFB, FL
Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Voice Engineer to join our team supporting the DISA CENTCOM Field Office based on-site at MacDill AFB, FL
After 90 days of employment, there is a possiblitity to work a hybrid schedule
Design, manage, and maintain a large, complex Voice infrastructure
Troubleshoot all aspects of the Voice network, must be organized, document oriented, possess skills in Visio diagramming, and understand WAN principals
Design, configure and troubleshoot QoS classification, marking and prioritization of network traffic (voice, critical applications, etc.)
Configure route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and partition
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active, in-scope US Government issuedSecretclearance to start and be able to upgraded to Top Secret.
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements,US Citizenship required.
Experience with Cisco Voice platforms, Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI’s, Dialing plans, and Cisco Unified Boundary Element (CUBE)
Demonstrated knowledge of complex programming and troubleshooting of telephony switches systems including Nortel CS2100, CS1000, and SL100
Demonstrated knowledge of the following technologies and/or platforms: voice switch infrastructure experience including Nortel CS1000 and M1; digital communications including: OCx, DS1, DS3, Fiber, ISDN, VoIP
A current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE) is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or additional 4 years of voice experience in leiu of degree.
