Our client, an American multinational beverage corporation is looking to hire a Dispatch Planner. This is a 8 to 12 month possible temp to hire assignment. Previous experience in delivery, logistic/planning support and supply chain optimization helps minimize the learning curve.

• Ideal candidate will have up to 1 year of planning and analytical experience.

• Prefer candidates with some ERP systems experience such as SAP, Oracle or JDEdwards

• Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) required.

Position is Onsite at the Tampa, FL office. May have some work from days as well. The hours are 2:30 pm to 11 pm Monday through Friday. 40 hours a week.

salary: $16.5 - $18 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Planning and dispatching in an accurate and timely basis to meet established metrics.

• Working with management teams to ensure that scheduling, routing and service are optimized and efficient.

• Using software and tools to identify the lowest cost solution based on need.

• Continuously improving our dataset in an effort to optimize our model and service.

• Providing daily communication to management on labor and equipment needs.

• Perform misc duties as assigned

• Determine the necessary sequence of activities and the efficient level of resources required to achieve both short and long term goals

• Evaluate a problematic situation and create a resolution based on planning and reasoning. Use logic, judgment, and data to drive decisions.

• Demonstrates a commitment to service which leads to satisfaction for both internal and external customers
