Citigroup Sr Business Associate- Tampa in Tampa, Florida

As part of the Business Execution Team supporting Business Architecture, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial activities of the Business Architecture Organization and will coordinate and manage activities such as the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of financials and other administrative needs, as necessary. May manage ad hoc projects as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, analyze, and report complex financial data

  • Support the financial analytics and management of the Business Architecture Budget across various systems and in partnership with Business and Financial Partners

  • Link data from various systems to ensure accuracy and proactive alignment across financial actuals and forecasts

  • Develop financial forecasts and budget scenario analysis in a clear, accurate, and concise manner that drives a quick and clear proactive understanding of the messaging and results

  • Perform extensive analysis and dimension budgetary impact of contracts, resources, technology, and projects

  • Develop/Maintain reporting structure enabling clear accountability of expenses

  • Work across teams creating transparent financial management and accountability

  • Establish and manage strong relationships with a diverse group of senior stakeholders across Business Architecture, Business Execution, and Finance to ensure adequate information sharing, reporting, alignment, and communications are in place

  • Support productivity/ cost savings initiatives and analysis

  • Support ad hoc efforts and analysis across various areas (e.g., third parties, fixed assets, investment requests, projects)

  • Prepare senior level financial reports and presentations

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience with related financial and analytical work

  • Experience with large data sets and turning data into actionable information supporting effective decision making

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required

  • Experience in budget planning, forecasting, capitalization, amortization, and analysis, including knowledge of PTS, and Resources @ Citi

  • Able to adapt quickly to internal tools and processes

  • Strong team player who can work effectively in cross-organization situations

  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes

  • Possesses strong critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated development, planning and execution of medium range and long-term strategic plans

  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Able to work with large volumes of data from various sources.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to deliver insights and conclusions in a concise and logical manner to seniors

  • Detail orientated with ability to also see larger picture

  • Clear/logical approach to problem-solving: breaking issues down to component parts and prioritizing the approach

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Proactive and ability to work independently or as a team player, with the ability to develop strong relationships with numerous partners

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and confidence to collaborate with managers at all organizational levels.

  • Self-motivated with ability to make decisions and maintain a controlled environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
