Description

We are in search of a skilled Sr. Accountant for our team based in Tampa, Florida. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for managing the end of month close processes, handling reconciliations, and aiding the revenue team. This role is integral to our industry and requires a professional with a strong background in accounting and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the end of month close processes to ensure accurate and timely accounting records

• Manage account reconciliation processes, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations

• Assist the revenue team in managing and tracking incoming funds

• Prepare and post general ledger entries to keep records up-to-date

• Implement strategies to streamline accounting processes and procedures

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall organizational goals

• Use accounting skills and knowledge to solve complex problems and make informed decisions

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or relevant role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with accounting software, such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Strong knowledge of Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Thorough understanding of General Ledger operations

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Must adhere to ethical standards and comply with company policies and regulations

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data

• Continual learning and improvement mindset

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
