Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Tampa, Florida. This role in the accounting industry will involve maintaining overall financial health, such as managing bank reconciliations and maintaining account balances. The Sr. Accountant will be tasked with supporting multiple business units, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately accounted for in a central bank account.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the application of cash receipts and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations for multiple business units.
• Continuously maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for accounting operations.
• Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for within the specified period.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• Handle NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management, ensuring revenue is accurately accounted for and reported.
• Manage the posting of payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately reflected in the accounts.
• Oversee cash applications, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to handle General Ledger tasks
• Capable of making accurate Journal Entries
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close operations is necessary
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a must
• Proficiency in Oracle is required
• Must have experience working with SAP
• Knowledge of Netsuite CRM is essential
• Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management is preferred
• Ability to handle Posting Payments efficiently
• Must have experience in Cash Applications
