We are looking for a Full-stack Senior Software Engineer with experience working with all aspects of software development and the delivery of these solutions via the cloud to join our team.

HLS AI Core Platform . The goal of the team is to build generic platform services to enable voice and Generative-AI powered clinical documentation solutions. These solutions serve as a voice enabled AI assistant for automated clinical documentation, enabling physicians to do more with less and improve clinical efficiency, physician and patient satisfaction and financial outcomes.

Amplified by the power and scale of Microsoft AI & Cloud for Healthcare, it combines conversational and ambient-speech AI with the newest and most capable Generative AI models.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items. Organizes work into smaller sets of tasks as part of an overall roadmap. Guides other members for project estimation and escalates any issues that would cause a delay. Lead architectural discussions of product and solutions by designing, testing and refining code with minimal technical oversight.

  • Ensure solutions meet architectural requirements and are scalable, extensible, fault-tolerant and secure.

  • Being part of production on-call rotations, lead the resolution of critical technical issues, providing guidance and solutions. Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Considers and drives comprehensive application of automation within production and deployment of a product. Runs code in simulated or other non-production environments to confirm functionality and error-free runtime for products. Defines and develops standardized, repeatable, scalable solutions to guarantee quality.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proficient knowledge in building microservices and micro-frontends architecture-based applications with containerization technologies like Docker, Azure Kubernetes, and experience with Linux.

  • Fundamental knowledge with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and experience in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering experience.

  • Experience with Infra-as-Code languages like Bicep or Terraform.

  • Experience with the design and development of distributed systems.

  • Extensive experience in .NET stack, including ASP.NET Core and Web APIs.

  • Solid experience with version control systems like GIT, experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ability to automate testing and deployment processes with Azure DevOps.

  • Proficient understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms. Ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems efficiently.

  • Experience with production deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ability to guide engineers during on-call production incidents.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
