Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a Secret Cleared Network Engineer to a federal client's team at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities include:

o Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches

o Must have experience with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc...)

o Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).

o Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.

o Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.

o Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.

o Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Network Operations / Engineering experience

Security + certification

CCNA

Secret clearance

Ability to support 24x7 shift work Strong background with IT Network Security

Experience supporting VPN project work.

Bachelors degree null
