Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will be actively involved in manufacturing and production readiness reviews, development of customer-specific Quality Control Plans, and requirements. Your responsibilities will include completing and assisting with AS9102 First Article Inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. You will manage, analyze, and publish Quality Assurance Reports for assigned projects, focusing on process yields, defect/root cause analysis, and associated corrective actions. Additionally, you will analyze process, product, and component performances to identify continuous improvement opportunities and collaborate with program teams to enhance product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. You will interface with customers regarding quality issues and assist in the failure analysis for non-conformances and field returns, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Your role also involves generating procedures, process alerts, deviations, purges, and other process documentation including evaluation, approval, implementation, and verification of ECO’s. Moreover, you will design and implement methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and production equipment.

Hard Skills

• 3+ years of quality engineering experience

• Experience with electronic components and assemblies; electronics manufacturing

• Bachelors Degree

• Experience with data-driven analytical methodologies for manufacturing, especially Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage R&R, Six Sigma, Process Capability (Cp, CpK), and/or Process Performance (Pp, PpK) Analysis

• Root Cause Analysis
